THE PELLA FIBER SYSTEM

I like helping people – all people, customers, coworkers, friends, even strangers. What good are you if you’re not doing something to help the world? ​ I also enjoy making music, riding motorcycles, boondock camping, TV/movie quotes, and hanging out with friends and family.

I am a proud Pella native, for eight and a half years I spent time travelling the world while serving in the US Army. I joined the Pella Fiber team back in March 2023. In my free time I enjoy a good coffee time, exploring my passion for cooking, and cherishing quality moments with my family – my wonderful wife Tiffany and our three children, Emma, Ryland, and Norah.

Every day is different and there is always something new to learn. ​ My husband and I have 2 grown children with spouses and 4 grandchildren who all live in Pella and I love spending time with them. I also enjoy shopping, baseball, and garage sales!

Kurtis Earls started as an intern at Pella Fiber in September of 2021. Kurtis was officially hired as a Fiber Technician in April of 2022. Originally from Tulsa Oklahoma, Kurtis relocated to Pella after he completed just under 16 years of service in the United States Marine Corps where his primary MOS was as a Motor Transportation Operations Chief. Kurtis enjoys spending time with his family, playing games and enjoying the great outdoors. Kurtis has a daughter and a girlfriend who has 5 kids he claims as his bonus kids along with 2 dogs.

My name is Anthony Allen. I have worked in the infrastructure and telecommunications field for over 20 years. I am currently the Fiber Technician Supervisor here at Pella Fiber. This is a role that I enjoy very much, and I get to work with a great team of guys. I am married to a lovely woman from Romania, named Luliana, and we have four beautiful children. I am an active member of my church here in town. I enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, and pretty much all things outdoors. Traveling and seeing new and beautiful places, getting to make memories with my family are some other things that I highly enjoy. I love working in the technology field and the challenges that it brings. I feel like you are always learning and growing and that is what I love about my job!

I really enjoy helping people, and I also love technology, so being a Field Technician is a great fit for me. High speed internet has become a necessity for so many people, so it brings me great satisfaction knowing that I’m a small part of making it possible for Pella’s residents to have it in their home. My wife and I have 3 kids, and I enjoy running, cooking, DIY projects, riding motorcycles, and walking our Beagle. I also enjoy watching high school/junior high athletic events, as well as the Cyclones, Cubs, and Bears.

I have a strong passion for technology and love using my skills to help others solve problems and achieve their goals. I’m also excited to be new to Pella and looking forward to exploring the community and meeting new people!

Monte Goodyk is a dedicated Local Programming Coordinator, as well as a passionate photographer and filmmaker. With expertise in creating engaging content and fostering community-driven programming, Monte brings creativity and precision to every project. Known for his ability to tell compelling stories through visual media, he combines his technical skills with a deep commitment to connecting with audiences.

Working at Pella Fiber has been a pleasant surprise. We great team here striving to provide the best service available to our local community. ​ I’ve worked in the tech field for the last 15 years or so and enjoy similar hobbies relating to various electronics and technical gadgets. But, since this is Iowa, I’ve also taken on raising chickens on the side, of course!

I love helping people and my goal is to provide them with the best customer service experience as possible. We try to go the extra mile. ​My husband and I have 6 kids combined and 7 grandchildren so far. We enjoy spending time with family and friends and helping others. We like to golf, watch football, put together jigsaw puzzles and work in the dirt.

I started with Pella Fiber in March 2024 after several years of commuting to Des Moines for work. Working in town has allowed me the opportunity to get to know many of the great people around town while helping residents learn about the great services that Pella Fiber offers. I live in town with my small family. I enjoy spending time with them, reading a good book, working out and rooting for the Hawkeyes and Chiefs.
